Meet The Team
Ms. Vi 's background consists over 25 years of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Pointe, Modern and Gymnastics, 16 years of professional and competitive dancing, over 20 years as a professtional instructor and choreographer.
She is a former cheerleader for the World Champion Chicago Bulls, “The Luvabulls“ for two seasons, where she danced and toured all over the states including international performances in England, Spain, Holland including many television and radio appearances. She also instructed the, “Jr. Luvabulls“.
She is excited to pass on her passion of dance to the students.
Ms. Vi Donald
Ms. Candace has been teaching over 10 years at Dancin' Around Dance Studio and at various park districts. She also is an assistant to our competitive dance team DancInfusion.
She has been dancing she was 3 years old, and her dance background is in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Pom Pon. She has a 12 year competitive gymnastics background including a high school all around state gymnast. She has participated in many competitive dance teams through out the years.
Ms. Candace was the head cheerleading coach for Sandridge school in Lynwood, IL for 2 years. She loves to teach and pass on her knowledge and passion for dance to her students.
Ms. Kelly has danced in school plays and talent shows, and was a member of the cheerleading, pom pons, and liturgical dance teams during her elementary and high school years. She has danced with various dance companies including Second II None and The Chicago Childrens Dance Workshop, and has performed at various functions and events throughout Chicagoland.
She began her formal training at Dancin Around Dance Studio over ten years ago where she studied Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern. She was also a member of DancInfustion Dance Team, where she won 1st Place Platinum and 1st Overall Score for her Hip Hop Solo. She has served as team captain throughout the duration of her membership on the team.
In addition, Kelly is the founder, director and choreographer of the praise dance team at her church. In addition to teaching, Kelly is also a dancer for the Kankakee County-Soldiers professional basketball team, "The Lady Soldiers".
Kelly loves dancing and is looking forward to teaching her classes.
Nia has been dancing and competiting since the age of 2 years old. Her background consists of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Poms, Tumbling, Lyrical, Acro and Cheerleading training.
She is currently active in performing, auditions and competing all over the States. She received numermous Platinum Awards and top 5 Overall Scores through-out her career. She also received numerous dance scholarships from various dance competitions and conventions. She is the 2016 and 2017 National Champion at the Starbound Dance Competition receiving 1st Place Overall for her jazz solo and lyrical solo. She was also part of the cheerleading team for TF South High School and named All-State Conference Cheerleader in 2017 and 2018.
Her passion for dance is like breathing and she enjoys teaching others the Arts of Dance.
Her travels allowed her to danced and trained with world famous choreographers who's worked with One Direction, Justin Bieber, JLo, P'Diddy and more. It also allowed her to meet inspirational dancers from "Dance Moms" from Abby Lee Dance Company and Miami.

Sierra has been dancing since the age of 5. Her background consists of Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Pom Pons, Tap and Tumbling. She danced competitively until the age of 18. She has danced with Southern Illinois Dabce Company, Moda IUC, Wrapsosy, Dancece2XS UIUC, and HIpno dance companies. Krystle Dionne Jelks is a dancer (ballet, modern, lyrical and liturgical), choreographer, dance instructor, and arts administrator. Beginning her dance training at age 5, Krystle started dancing with Ms. Rita Walton and Les Petite Dancers and Company. From there, she studied as a dance major at the prestigious Emerson School for the Visual and Performing Arts.
She received her formal education at Ball State University earning a Bachelor’s in Public Relations in 2007 and a Master’s of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in Arts in Youth and Community Development in 2011.
Krystle has participated in dance training programs such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre. Krystle has served as a solo dancer and teaching artist in the northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area for more than 12 years.
Ms. Neecie has been dancing since the age of three training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, and Hip-Hop. She has now been teaching professionally since 2017. She trained and received her degree in dance and psychology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. During her time in college, she performed with the college’s dance company and also with her dance team at many events on campus. Ms. Neecie is very passionate and excited to be a mentor to her students while guiding them through dance.
