Alyssa Welsh
Poms/Hip Hop Instructor
Alyssa has been dancing for eight years and has developed a strong passion for hip hop. She was the captain of her high school dance team and currently serves as the captain for the Purdue University Northwest Dance Team, where she is in her second season. Alyssa has choreographed two hip hop routines for the team, including their first dance of the current season.
In addition to performing, Alyssa spent two years as an assistant coach for the South Central Junior High dance team, where she enjoyed helping younger dancers grow in their skills and confidence. Her dedication to dance led her to be selected as an alternate for Shakira’s NBC show Dancing with Myself, where she traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to network with professionals and gain valuable experience in the dance industry.
Alyssa is thrilled to continue sharing her love for dance and creativity as an instructor, inspiring others to grow and find confidence through movement.
